Does the job. We have bought it for a trip to the US where we will have a spare bed, so no worries about mattresses. We will just be putting on the other bed! The mattress it comes with is obviously soft or it wouldn't pack in, but the crib is the perfect size to put a pillow in if you need more padding. My son is 3.5 months and in the 75th for length, but we should get a few more uses out of this - probably up to 6 months. Worth buying to keep instead of paying 50 pounds to hire a manky hotel travel cot anyway!

Was exactly what I needed. We carried it in our hand luggage during our travels. It has also been used at the grandparents.We didn't feel we needed the inflatable mattress, we just made sure it was on a soft surface, rug/duvet, and used a thick sheet doubled up over the mattress.

Very happy with this product - needed a travel cot for our daughter and whilst the mattress was a little thin - this tick nearly all the boxes . Would definitely recommend
