Very attractive but fiddly to use and remove, 8 Jan. 2016

I'm a big fan of nail polishes, but although I admire a lot of the nail art that's out there, and can spend ages looking at blogs devoted to it, it's not something I've been tempted to do myself.

This looked a good idea - add some sparkle and flowers in one simple application and hey presto! funky nails!

And to an extent, it is a good idea. The sparkles are small, pink and pretty and the flowers are nice, white and big enough to be noticeable in use. However, applying the flowers is either totally random, or a case of patiently dipping in your brush until you find one, and then safely taking out through the long and narrow neck of the bottle. If you are good at those arcade "grab a soft toy" games you'll probably enjoy the experience - if not, you might just get a tad frustrated!

Assuming you have fished out the required number of flowers to your taste, it's fairly easy to push them around on your nail until you've reached an arrangement you...

Uneven finish, but nice idea., 4 Jan. 2016

This is an interesting top coat for nails which adds a bit of sparkle to any nail polish.Used on top of a colour, the clear coat has glitter, white flecks and large white flowers in the mix. The large flowers seem to be few and far between though, only appearing on a few nails when applied.Application is easy enough with the brush, but the bits don't spread on evenly and it really does require the flowers on each finger to get the full effect. The flowers also pop up occasionally at the sides so may come off over time. My wife used another top coat from a red nail varnish that made it look pink and actually improved the look and feel of this top coat.

Looks surprisingly unattractive, 15 Jan. 2016

I was excited to try this polish, as I love the idea of having little flowers on my nails! However, I was really disappointed with the outcome once it had been applied.This is clear polish that can be used on its own, or over the top of a coloured polish as a top coat. Regardless of how you use it, it doesn't look very good in my opinion. There aren't very many flowers in the polish - it is mostly made up of short, thin little strands that look like microbes under a microscope, or little insects on your nails. If the polish contained only flowers, it might be nice, but with most of it containing the ugly little strands and a few circles, it just gives a really unattractive effect.On the plus side, it has good staying power and dries quite quickly, but those are the only positives I can think of, and I won't be using it again.
