Love Lamaze but this toy just doesn't work, 6 May 2010

I love all the Lamaze products I've ever bought and so confidently ignored the negative reviews when buying this one. Don't make the same mistake - the vertical orientation of the toy makes any lengthy suction impossible; my son kept lifting it off his tray and has since managed to break the thing in two.

Good fun, but not perfect!, 23 May 2014

This is quite a cute toy and our little girl was definitely interested in it.It bends when you pull on it, and it makes rattling noises. Plenty of stimulation in terms of the noise, different colours, twirling the hoops around etc. our little one thought it was extremely funny!...There is one problem though... It doesn't stick very well at all. The suction on it is simply awful. I have tried everything from slightly wetting before sticking, through to soaking through to trying it dry. It works best when it is really wet. However, babies seem to have very strong little fingers and arms, and it still came flying off within a couple of minutes.It's a good toy... Just so long as you don't mind sticking it down regularly!

this high chair toy is great....but!!, 13 April 2011

i brought this toy even after reading the bad reviews, and yes the suction cup is pritty much worthless. but its defantly one of my 6 month old favorite toys enven if its not stuck down, i did tape it down but now hes having finger food and using the table on his high chair it wasnt such a great idea!BUT! yesterday i brought a tommee tippee magic mat, it holds the bowl down and it fantastic! so i thorght i wonder if it will hold the highchair toy and to my wonders it does perfectly! you can yank it around left right and center and theres no getting it off! untill you pull the little tab on the may and hey presto its off. (my son cant pull the tab as its round the back) so this review is mainly for people who have already broght one and are dissapointed with the suction cup on the bottom, there is a way of fixing it if your willing to spend a few more pounds but its well worth it!!
