Lovely, extremely well made, highly colourful toy suitable from basically new born to whatever age the child gets fed up with soft toys and moves on to mobile phones and tablets, today's more expensive necessary accessories for every, it seems like five and six year olds. My less than one year old grand daughter has gone crazy over this rather attractive pig, she does not take her eyes off it in her pram and much prefers it to a rather boring but much more valuable Teddy Bear.
The toy/doll/figure is exceptionally well made, the stitching is super strong and almost invisible, the materials used have at least 8 different textures and I counted at least 16 or 17 different colours and different shades. Enough to fill the eyes of any youngster and for him/her to feel all the different textures with tiny thumbs and fingers. A very well thought out and well designed toy, about 24cm in height. This is a lovely baby toy ( suitable from birth) to attract the attention of curious little one.
The bright colours are ideal for little eyes that are just learning how to focus, while the different textures give little hands a chance to explore how things feel and sound when they are pushed, crinkled and even sucked and bitten.
The toy is from Tomy and as you would expect from a big name with a reputation to uphold it is very well made, the stitching is strong and the teething apple and hanging hook are very well attached, I dare say that they could be chewed through by older children with teeth and a lot of time on their hands, but little ones would not usually be able to remove them from the body of Olly.
The clip is a simple affair that just pushes to one side to form a gap and allow you to attatch to a buggy or car seat handle to add some interest to that for little one.

What a cute little grunty pig! Actually, he's not all that little and for a hanging toy, he's really quite a decent size piggy, being about 24cm tall from the tops of his ears to the tips of his trotters. Like all Lamaze toys we have used over the years, these are sell made and you feel confident allowing your baby to play with their toys without fear of bits falling off, which with a baby toy is of course incredibly important.
Olly Oinker has crinkly fabric ears and legs and has a soft rattle sound when he is shaken, he is made up of a mixture of soft fur fabric and smoother, silkier fabrics, all giving Olly a nice variety of colour and texture. He has a teething "apple" attached to one of his arms, which has a cute little bite mark shape, as if Olly has taken a bite out of his apple, but is great for when teething sets in.
