Mine didnt work properly so can only award 2 stars, 20 Oct. 2015

The one i received was broken, the tummy didnt glow and the back didnt attach together, i tried in vain to pull it together so the plastic bit wasnt sticking out but no luck, manufacturing fault i assume.However the ears and hand parts worked, they let out giggles, phrases in french and german, some apparently soothing music and thats pretty much it. For love nor money i could not get it to select English, everything was in french and german, but never mind.The belly part is rock hard because thats where it houses the battery power, and then the rest is soft.Becuase it didnt work, i took out all the hard parts and gave it to the dog, she loved it :)

Broken switch in red ear so can't even select English upon startup, so disappointing, 19 Oct. 2015

I'm so disappointed that the bunny doesn't work. I've spent 20 fruitless minutes trying to get a response from the red ear (which is how you select it to speak English when you do the initial setup).I think there must be a dodgy weld or a broken wire somewhere because all the other ears work fine when you press them, but just not the red one.The bunny's tummy lights up and he speaks phrases (in some other language at the moment though, so I'm not actually sure what the translation is). The melodies are relaxing and soothing and he makes a lovely nightlight.He's nicely designed, like all the Lamaze toys, which normally I rate highly, but this one sadly is only 2 stars, because he's still a cute toy, but loses three stars for lack of functionality.

Cute and fun - shame he's a little hard, 4 Nov. 2015

We really like Lamaze’s toys and I got this bunny a bit on impulse. It has everything a budding toddler could want – it has buttons, makes noises and lights up. On top of that it is cute and (parts of it are) huggable.

It is great that it can be configured for 4 different languages – my wife is French and my son understands both English and French, so being able to switch toys between languages is always a plus. To change language, you need to take the batteries out and put them back, which resets the rabbit and lets you make the selection again. Obviously this is overly fiddly and only meant to be done once.

There are some issues though. Firstly, there’s the hard plastic body, which can bang your baby if he/she is swinging it by the ears or flopping down on it. The fabric that covers the body is very snug and for the life of me I can’t get the Velcro over the battery compartment to close flat, so it always leaves scratchy edges...
