best breast pads for leaky ladies, 12 Feb. 2010

I have tried many, many different types of breast pads, when i had my first daughter 3 years ago and since i have had my second 6 months ago. I am a leaky lady, i'm afraid and all of them have let me down so that i have ended up with the telltale wet patches on my clothes. The best breast pads i have used are lansinoh - they cover a large area, they have excellent absorbancy and they dont show under your clothes. They are not cheap but i rarely have to replace them during the day so they are not uneconomical for me, and the old saying is true that you get what you pay for. The peace of mind that i am very unlikely to leak during the day is worth the extra money anyway! If you arent finding you leak very much then fair enough, you can probably get away with cheaper pads, but if you are producing enough milk to supply a county of babies, these are definitely worth trying.

Best breast pads I've found, 19 Aug. 2013

I LOVE these breast pads. They are by far the best ones that I've found, I'm only sorry I didn't discover them sooner. I've used various supermarket disposable pads and other branded pads plus reusable ones, all of which I've ended up leaking with at some point or another. These pads are comfortable, very absorbent and stay in place all day and also at night. Yes, they are more expensive than supermarket ones but as I end up using less of these per day than other pads because they absorb milk so well and lock it into the pad you end up getting good value for your money. It also saves embarrassment as I don't have to worry about wet patches on my top when I'm out and about! I would quite happily recommend these to everyone, they are excellent.

good but not quite a good as previous, 20 Jun. 2013

I am privileged to produce a lot of milk, however it's important I have a good quality pad. I used these two and a half years ago and I shouted from the roof tops about them. They are discreet, great absorption and stay put in your bra unlike so many other brands out there.I now have a 5 week old and ordered more pads in. As before still think they aee discreet and absorption great but they don't stick as well in my opinion. I therefore have to check positioning otherwise I leak. However these are still the only pads id use.
