Fab toy for a little one, bought for my son's first Christmas (8 months old). It's a decent size, not too big that he'll have trouble holding it and not too small either. The pegs stay up until whacked a few times with the hammer, they don't slide back down as I suspected they may. All in all a lovely wooden toy!
