GREAT ITEM, 25 May 2010
This net is perfect, It comes with two screws if you need them but the hanging mechanism could be used any where. The whole net tapers up to two points held together by a collapsable pole. It packs away neatly and is perfect for travelling. The packaging says it is impregnated with Life systems EX8 Anti Mosquito formula that will last 2 years or 35 washes.Dimensions are 210cm(L) x 160cm (W)x 160cm (H)Weight: 375g including bag.So i wrote the above when i received it int he post. I have now returned from Ghana having used it and i can say: It is good if you are around 5 ft but my 6 ft 4 boyfriend was constantly getting his feet tangled in it. The design which is not clear when you first look at it is that it attaches to the roof above your head and then tapers down to your feet so it is a cosy fit with risk of touching the net and being bitten through it. We found that a net with four hooks (like a four poster bed) was a much better design.

Excellent functionality and quality, highly recommended., 1 April 2013

The key to the performance for this net, or any net in my opinion, is the support bar (collapsible in this instance) that combines with the design to maintain shape and allows for a decent internal space when properly tucked in at the 4 corners. Having lived previously in the tropics with a very basic net, I can certainly vouch for the huge advantages of this more advanced design.

The hanging system itself is reasonably flexible, allowing you to mount the net from a point of various heights. This means you could mount it to a ceiling or a point hanging just above the net itself. Personally I wouldn't bother with separate 'hanging kits' - I usually carry some string and a couple of nails and then create my own solution - as this provides enough flexibility to make do in a variety of situations.

When mounted at an appropriate height, you really only need to adequately tuck in the corners properly to get a good taught canopy. "Taught" really is important here, for...

Wedge shape doesn't guarantee protection for your feet!, 24 May 2013
A good quality net, but we found that the slim end of the wedge was too shallow to allow adequate protection for the feet: it does not allow enough room for your feet to be free, or without contact with the net, so the mozzies can bite through!Single hanging point also does not allow flexibility of hanging, we had to improvise with a light fitting in order to hang this!
