I don't know if there is an other version of the Flashlight on earth, but this one is like a Chinese Version. The light is not better than my old LED Lenser.For me this thing isn't worth more than 10 GBP.

arrived in good time and gives a reasonable light. However, the inside of the lens is very badly scratched/scored as if someone has been digging at it. Probably should send it back but can't be bothered as it works ok. But if you are buying this for a gift, do check it over first and buy in good time in case you have to return it. When you focus it on a narrow beam you get the square shape of the electronic bulb, not the round shape of a beam that most people are used to...it looks like a lit up microchip, very odd...but when you focus out to get a wider beam this disappears and you get the normal large circular shape. To get it to strobe you have to cycle through the on and off - pressing it down multiple times, not much good in an emergency, but its ok for normal use i guess.

Worth every penny, 17 July 2016

Very good torch. Having been sick and tired of cheaper torches breaking I purchased this. Robust construction, lightweight. Super bright and very variable focus, at the sharpest focus the beam illuminates for a substantial distance - combined with the SOS morse this could prove useful for emergencies when out hiking.
