how not to baby proof your house!, 2 July 2010

I really wouldn't recommend this product - the sticky pads don't stick and the plastic straps are more adult proof than child proof! returned the items immediately and bought baby dan ones instead!!

Poor build quality; clip broke soon after first use.Difficult to latch; very tight fit & difficult to do & undo even for an adult.Would not recommend you waste your money on this. Seek alternatives!

More adult proof than baby proof - AVOID, 29 May 2011

Wish I had read the earlier review before buying this product because this Lindam multi-purpose latch is rubbish.Having followed the instructions to the letter we found ourselves in the unusual position of not being able to open the fridge door. After much cursing by both myself and my wife we viewed a video on youtube on how to use the latch but noticed that the ease on using this latch on the video was not mirrored by our version.The sticky pads stuck well to the fridge front but the plastic attachments came away from the pads, after much swearing the plastic cap stuck to the strap came away, then the clip came away from the cap, not something you want to happen if you have a baby. How this product gained a safety certificate for use with kids I just don't know.To add to insult we now have two sticky pads stuck like no tomorrow to our kitchen appliances.NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
