I feel let down by this purchase. I went for the fabric panels because I thought that if my baby was to bang into the wooden or the metal railed one he could hurt himself. When we assembled this one I found that all of the fabric panel inners are held up by metal rails and there no cushioning on the metal rails so its even worse than having bought the railed ones, as he doesn't expect the metal inners are there and bangs into them anyway. Also the base mat is not padded enough and my little one would frequently knock his head on the base of the pen (which is metal) and so I had to buy an extra mat to double line it before he could use it.In addition one of our screws to hold up the rail went missing, when I contacted Lindam I was told 'Sorry, we don't supply that, we can't help you' So much for child safety experts... they couldn't seem to care less. I have lost confidence in Lindam and wouldn't buy from them again.

A good product let down by a design flaw, 28 Jan. 2012

I am generally happy with the playpen - the sides & gate are solid & sturdy, and it folds away easily for storage. However I was very disappointed with one aspect of the design. The padded floor mat has to be tied on to the sides with little strips of fabric. This is fiddly, but not too much of a problem if you are only going to do it once, and then leave the playpen up. If, however, like us you need to conserve space in your living-room & will be packing the playpen up & down quite often, it soon becomes very annoying. Most frustrating is that the silly little ties they have provided are only just barely long enough to tie a bow with, after several fiddly tries. If they were even just 2cm longer it would be so much easier & quicker... however, the whole issue could have been avoided if they would just have used cloth strips with poppers or, even better, velcro to secure the base. This would also have made it harder for baby to reach through & untie the strings.

Outstanding Customer Service & Good Product, 18 July 2015

I felt compelled to write my first ever review due to my positive encounter with G L Trading concerning the purchase of this playpen.

Admirable customer care with prompt reply, caring nature and pragmatic actions which rectified what appears to have been a manufacturing fault with this particular playpen.

**To allay any fears, we already owned one of these playpens and bought another to extend it for multiple children and we are most satisfied with the product. It's a good sturdy playpen with the ability to alter the general layout/shape when setup. So it doesn't lock in to a hexagonal shape. It's a good height and difficult to image an appropriately aged child climbing over it. The material on the panels is wipeable with a damp cloth and so stays hygienic. It's also super easy to assemble - click and connect for standalone playpen.

If extending, the mat supplied will not suffice due to its shape, which restricts total floor coverage in a different...
