Cheap but not particularly cheerful, 27 July 2011
I take the point made by other reviewers that a mattress protector is a mattress protector (i.e. how much do you want to spend on something which is hidden beneath a sheet?), but with this particular product, the saying 'you get what you pay for' is apposite. Ours arrived in good time and was well-packed (hence 1 star) but the quality is basic bordering on shoddy. The skirt area of our protector split when we put it on the bed and the finish is sheeny and cheap. Caveat emptor.

Worth it for spare beds, 6 Jun. 2011
These are really good products for the price. What do you expect for such low cost? Certainly not gold plating. But what you get is very usable for beds that don't get a lot of use. I have bought several of these in different sizes for the beds my family use when they come to stay, and for this use they are excellent. You could almost afford to throw them away and buy new ones every now and then if they didn't wash too well. At present mine do wash very well.

The superking duvet protector was delivered quickly by post. I had bought it for my daughter who had ordered a new bed. Due to the time delay in fitting it on the bed I was too late to return the item when it turned out to be too small. I am now using it for a double bed. It's slightly big for that but would be fine for a king size bed. DEFINITELY not for a superking.
