Having checked out many different toddler carriers before buying the Little Life Cross Country S2 I was extremely pleased with it. It's light, well designed, and very comfortable. The foot hold at the base is a great idea for those worried about it toppling over but it is actually quite sturdy on it's own. It's very easy to put my son into, good straps, looks and feels very secure. I even prefer it to using a buggy particularly on quick trips (saves all the folding, etc etc). A very small niggle would be that the zip on the back pocket sticks a little, possibly because it is curved. Other than that, very pleased with it!

Excellent for both passenger and carrier, 25 July 2012

My son is 13 months old and quite heavy; I bought this so we could go on some more adventurous walks or simply walk on the beach (territory where most pushchairs come unstuck).

My son absolutely loves it, the first walk he giggled for the first half hour. It provides him with a great view of what is going on and he obviously finds it comfortable. He can reach out and tap my head if he wants and it has a nice cushion in front of his head that he can rest on and sleep. The sun shade is nice but only really works well when the sun is either behind you or directly over head.

From my point of view it is very comfortable, my son is pretty big for his age but I can walk for 1-2 hours without a problem. However I would advise spending some time getting the quite complicated adjustments correct (which means reading the instructions) - this makes a huge difference to comfort levels.

I've only owned it for a couple of months so can't comment on longevity but it...

My son in law is thrilled with this carrier, as is my grandson, who sits up as proud as punch! They are great walkers. A great birthday present.
