I think that there is nothing ultra matte about this product. I have short blonde hair and put a very small amount of this product in. after just a little working in to the hair it makes it look dark and feels greasy. Certainly does NOT live up to it's name. I won't be buying this again.

I expected better hold for maximum grade (5). Also looks a bit greasy for "ultra matte". With that said, still one of the best I've tried.
