Work well to keep cupboards closed but adhesive not perfect, 18 Jun. 2016

It took a little while for these to come, but coming from China this is to be expected. Saying that they did arrive before the estimated delivery date so I was happy with this.

I have a 1 year old who loves to mess in my kitchen cupboards so I got these to try and stop her from getting into them.

They worked fairly well. I used all 6 they go on very easily. I would recommend that you ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before putting them on. You just peel of the sticker and place one end on the side of the cupboard then the opening part of the locks on the door itself. My daughter couldn't pull the door open due to the material restricting this. Nor could she operate the latch.

The one issue I had is that 2 out of the 6 came off within half an hour of putting them on. The sticky side attached to the cupboard came off in both cases. I think this is because they are quite small so there is not a lot of adhesive holding it down.

These safety locks work well and are good value for money as they are fairly inexpensive compared to similar products. The package is dispatched from China so takes a while to arrive, but it was well before the estimated date.You do need to make sure the area is very clean before applying it as otherwise the adhesive might not work.The locks are opening on one side only and the bit in between is made of a textile material. It seems very sturdy, just not sure if it cleans easily.Saying that given the price I think it is a good value and I am happy that it does the job well.Please note I have received this product at a discount for an honest and unbiased review.
