Your go-to soother for early or tiny babies, 6 Mar. 2012

I bought these before our little girl arrived as she was being delivered 4wks early, and Avent (that I always had for my little boy) didn't seem to offer a from-birth size anymore, just their "0-6months" size.

We didn't use a dummy for her first few weeks, to establish on demand feeding, but once we started offering her them to help with colic and reflux, these were the only ones (as I had bought several different brands to try her on) that she seemed to like and also didn't swamp her little face! The teat on these looks identical in shape and size to Avent bar the matte panels on the sides which I assume are to help baby keep it in their mouths? But Avents are so much bigger to look at once in use and didn't seem to allow room for her nose, so they fell out, as the plastic bit that sits over their mouth looked huge (as she was diddly!). These however are cleverly designed to sit under the nose on the smallest of baby faces.

Over all, a great soother, dummie,...

The only dummies my baby will use. I can only get the smaller ones from this site. So I've made sure I've got a couple of packs.
