Just purchased second one of these. First started using it when our son was 6 months old with the valve in. Now, at almost a year he drinks water and milk from it independently. Great cup.

Baby boy won't take a bottle but loves to hold and play around with this. Haven't used milk yet but he does take water from this cup.

Best thing I've bought! Good for breastfed baby!, 22 April 2015
My 4.5 month old is breastfed but I needed him to take the occasional feed of expressed milk. This is THE ONLY thing he will take is out of and Ive tried every other product on the market! I've even tried cup feeding and syringe feeding but he wouldn't take anything that wasn't from the breast. I bought this as a desperate attempt and Went for the cup as opposed to bottle as he's getting older it will be useful for weening too. Can not recommend highly enough. I bought the mama teats and I use them instead of the plastic teat but again I will use that for weening.
