Frankly my husband and I were not sure if the battery would fit and work so we were happy to see that it actually works! And it's cost effective, we now don't need to spend a lot buying a new monitor for our second baby.

Make sure you really leave it charging a long time before using...at least 24 hours or your machine will beep at you after 10 minutes.. It's ok but you kind of expect batteries to be loaded the minute you have them..
