Lovely candle in every way but very overpriced., 7 April 2015
The reason I have given this only three stars is because of the price for the size. However, I really do like the candle but just don't think it is anywhere near that value.The packaging is lovely and this would make a lovely gift. It comes in a pretty box wrapped in tissue paper. The candle's class itself is nice glass with a very shiny lid and no gimmicky logos on it. It, therefore, looks very classy. The smell is wonderful; very clean and calming. The candle burns nicely and has no spit or no smokey residue. The candle burned evenly.Overall, I do love this candle. It would make a lovely gift or would be ideal for use in a spa or beauty salon. It is also lovely to use when having a nice relaxing bath. My main gripe is the price as it is really quite small and there are other beautiful candles to purchase for the same price but in a much bigger jar.

Looks and smells absolutely lovely, 18 April 2015
Designed to make mother and baby time more endearing this candle is just lovely. I did however get it for me and think it should not be limited to a smaller audience. It is made from 100% organic materials and features essential oils of lavender, Patchouli, Bergamot and Geranium.It burns with a gentle lustre and does not give of black smuts and the aroma is relaxing and soothing, just right for a relaxing bath - which is how I used it. It also comes in a glass with a silver topped lid so that it will have a use after it has burned down. For the price though it may seem a bit much as it is not that big.So it looks good, smells lovely is not cheap but you do get a nice glass and lid at the end of use. The best part is the smell which I absolutely adore.

Beautiful candle, 16 April 2015
This is a beautiful candle, with a nice, mild scent which to me smells faintly of flowers and baby powder. It burns exceptionally well with no smoke/sootiness given off. It is made of non-toxic wax and is paraffin free with a 100% cotton wick so is made of safe natural materials. This would make a lovely gift for a new mother or even for yourself after the birth of your baby as it is Maclaren's Beginning candle ('the journey of motherhood, the journey of life') and creates a lovely, calming, relaxing atmosphere.
