A great starter set for youngsters interested in magnets or who just love playing with them. There are enough pieces here to make medium-sized structures; the colours are attractive; the instruction book is interesting to adults but probably redundant for youngsters who will just get on with their own creations. Magformers has a solid feel, as if the set will last a long time.

Got this for my 5 1/2year old son for Christmas, he loved it. Not many things hold his attention but this did. He plays with it for hours, building and creating different things. I'll be looking to get him some more for his birthday.

this is a great gift for kids of all ages. I bought it for my youngest grandchild but her brothers and sister love to play with it too. I think it is a good educational toy as well as a lot of fun.
