Best child lock system ever! If I could give it ten stars, I would.

Yes, it's a slight pain at first when you're not used to needing a "key" to open the cabinets, but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature to grab the key.

I abhor the traditional cabinet child locks... The flimsy little things that catch after you open it a few inches and promptly jerk the cabinet door back, crushing your fingers as well as the fingers of any small child who tries to get in the cabinet (cause every parent of a one year old needs MORE reasons for them to randomly scream). I have found that those safety "locks" only work until the kid either rips them off while pulling on the door with all their might or just plain figures out how they work.

This system is AWESOME.

Really good cabinet locks, 2 July 2016

I bought this product for my 15 months old who loves the kitchen cabinets. I was looking at similar products within the same price range but when I came across this particular set I knew I would want it. It contains 4 magnetic cabinet locks with one key. There are also 4 corner cushions and door cushions.

At first I thought the idea is a bit of a pain that you always need the magnet but I was so wrong. It's magical. My boy did try to open the cabinet but he could not. He must be wondering what's wrong with them. Also note that though there are some instructions at the back of the pack I would have preferred a more detailed set of instructions. My husband installed them though and it didn't take him more than 10 minutes for 2 locks. However he had to take them of several times and reapply because of not getting the same height of them on the first time.

I was also impressed with the corner cushions, I already had some before but these are of a much better quality.

Comprehensive safety pack, 4 July 2016

These are simple to install and help keep prying hands from the cupboards they should not be going in to. It it difficult to tell at this stage whilst our little one is still just a nipper whether they are going to be robust enough as she gets bigger, stronger and more inquisitive. I hope they continue to serve us well. More importantly, I did not want anything that would alter the external aesthetic of the kitchen cabinets, which some safety devices do. These are internally fixed and the magnet is used to release the catch which works well for us. If there are any further developments of note, I will post them as they occur.

As for the corners, they are even easier to install, with the adhesive supplied and the door protectors should help from accidental noise when closing the door or from little fingers getting closed on.
