This mirror is an OK mirror but there is one thing that is not right and that is the light. On the picture it shows a white light but it is not white it is yellow and not extremely bright. It holds 3 AA batteries which are at the base of the mirror. On the other side is magnified mirror, both sides have a light. I would have given this mirror a higher star rating but the yellow light makes putting on make-up difficult. I was slightly disappointed with this mirror as smaller than expected and the light isn't quite bright enough for me but the product is great for the price .
