We bought this carrier after doing research on line of the various ones on the market (via Which). Although it is towards the high end price point for carriers, the quality of the materials and build reflects that.
It does say that it can be used for 0 upwards, however our little girl only fits nicely in at 3 months old. Before she seemed to just get sucked in and didn't seem comfortable. Lucky as we bought for her 1st holiday when she was just 3 months! Comfort for the parent is very good, I walked miles, on and off local Turkish buses, though large airports all with her strapped firmly to me, quite happy and without it making any part of me ache. You can have baby facing either way, however both myself and my baby preferred her with her back to me so she can face forwards & see the world better.
The fittings are very good and once you have it set to your requirement it is very easy to get on and off, and baby in and out without much further adjustment...
