I'm onto my third child and now my third sling :-) I've got the ergo (a structured carrier ) and the moby (stretchy wrap) already. This sling took a bit of getting used to as they all do but I'm now really happy with it. I've used it with my newborn for the last month and my friend borrowed it to carry her 4 year old back up a steep hill from the beach on holiday and she found it great.
Pros
- goes easily through the washing machine and dries quickly
- the ring can loop onto my clip on the buggy
- I was able to breastfeed standing up by just releasing the fabric from the loop to lower the sling's position and when finished just tightened it up again. I could also use the sling to entirely cover me whilst feeding when I fed my baby across me whilst seated. I've breast fed in all of my sling's but this was the easiest to get back in position afterwards.

I bow to the superior knowledge of my wife on this one, not exactly being an expert on the subject, so she wrote the following review after trying the sling out.
This sling is a joy to use. It is simple to fit and so easy to adjust. I used a pouch type sling with a waist belt and buckles with my babies but now, as a granny, I find this much easier to use. The fabric is strong but soft and my grandson snuggled in immediately while I was able to pull it to fit single handed. It felt safe and secure to use and meant I could soothe and cuddle the baby while still playing with the older toddler. It made it easy to do the boring chores and then to walk to the park with him tucked in warm and safe. This was a discounted reviewer’s sample for evaluation, so we tried it out in various situations - the sling is roomy enough to take him through to toddler size or until I can no longer carry him. When the Mamaway Baby Ring Sling arrived, I was shocked by how little space it would take up when it was stored. As anyone with a small child knows, the amount of paraphernalia they come with can be overwhelming; the Mamaway however is not going to add to your lack of storage. It is a product that has been exceptionally well thought out, right down to the neat little storage bag it folds down into when not in use – and don’t worry, even if you’re like me and would forget your head if it wasn’t screwed on – you can’t lose it, as it forms part of the sling itself.
