My purple haze afro rocks!, 27 Sept. 2014

I love the colour on my natural afro. Better results on pre-lightened hair. Use heat if you want (e.g hair dryer) after the colour application before rinsing, this helps the colour to stay in longer. Colour does not show up on black hair. Expect the dye colour from the hair to transfer on pillow cases, cover sheets high neck tops etc. Don't worry, it will come of in the wash. If your hair is moisturised with afro products, AVOID resting your head on white surfaces like a wall or door as the dye from your hair is a pain to come off even when cleaning the dye patch with bleach. Don't let thatput you off. It hasn't with me and I have had alot of compliments from people, especially black people on my new fro colour. I co-wash my hair once every 7 days. I am in week 4 of the colour and it still is vibrant with no faded after colour of my dyed permanent colour underneath. I love it!

I love this stuff, I tried all sorts to get my hair royal purple. Pravana chromasilks, XXL live etc, this was the only product that actually made it the correct colour, it covers evenly, and one pot will easily cover a full head of long hair, it goes a really long way, which isn't the case with other brands of dye, I haven't washed my hair yet, but I am quite confident that it has taken well to pre-lightened hair, and I haven't noticed it transferring to my white pillow cases so far. I am happy to repeat the treatment as needed, at less than £10 a pot why not? If you get this on your skin acetone free nail varnish remover gets it off a treat.

Fab colour and it lasts!I usually re colour every 5-7 days because I wash my hair daily, however it has now been 3 weeks and it is only just starting to lighten (noticeable only to me apparently). Would Def recommend.
