Question for Amazon, 23 Feb. 2015

This is an update to the original feedback below. I am not sure this mascara is the real deal. It dried up in the tube quite quickly. Also, my eyes have started to feel sore. I still want amazon to answer the question, why there was no seal around the mascara?

i was a bit sceptical about ordering Max Factor mascara online. But ive been unable to get this mascara for sometime from my normal retailer. Max Factor has assured me if has not been discontinued. I ordered 2 from Amazon to take advantage of the free postage. The mascaras came and the first thing I noticed was that neither mascaras were sealed. When I usually buy them, they have a plastic seal around them that you have to tear off. This concerned me. I checked against my old empty mascara and it all looked exactly the same. The brush and colour also looked the same. I tried it on one eye that evening (just around the house of course). It seemed the same...and it didnt seem to have any adverse reactions...

I don't wear mascara very often but I was curious about a mascara for green eyes (rather than just a green mascara) at such a fantastic price. It is very subtle and my lashes look a little thicker and a little longer - just the look I wanted. I've no idea how the red/green science bit works...it just seems to! I originally bought the mascara for brown eyes by mistake so when the green version arrived I tried one out on each eye - and my husband and work colleagues all picked out which eye had the green mascara! My skin and eyes are quite sensitive to make up products but this has not caused any adverse reaction.It was delivered very promptly and arrived in excellent condition. I'm really pleased with the product, the service and the price.

Didnt think it made a difference to my eye colour, but was a very nice mascara and lasts 8 hours or more. Would buy again as great value and doesnt clump.
