Der Maxi-Cosi MiloFix ist der neue, drehbare ISOFIX Kinderautositz, der von der Geburt an bis ca. 4 Jahre genutzt werden kann.
Er wird zunächst rückwärts gerichtet – gegen die Fahrtrichtung – eingesetzt.
Mit ca. 15 bis 18 Monaten kann der Sitz einfach gedreht und vorwärtsgerichtet für Ihr Kind verwendet werden.

Marvellous Milofix, 23 April 2015

I have this seat in the red and am delighted with the quality. It is really well made and the finish is superb. It is solid and sturdy and I can well see it lasting baby right through until they eventually outgrow it. Being a Group 0/1 carseat, it does baby from birth until up to 4 years old. Obviously how long it will last depends on how fast your child grows. My baby was born prematurely so I actually bought another carseat until they were big enough to fit into this one (min weight limit for this seat, as with many others is, as far as I am aware, 5lbs and my baby was smaller than that on leaving hospital). The Milofix is, however, much superior.

You start with the seat rear-facing and can switch it to forward-facing when appropriate for your child, however, it does allow for longer rear-facing than some other seats on the market which is why I bought it. Rearward facing seats have been proven to be safer. I also needed an isofix seat that didn't require a base with a...

These seats are very well made and not too difficult to fit, once you've figured out whether you have isofix fittings in the car. It can face forwards or backwards without too much effort to change it. The problem is the buckle attachment. You have to assemble the two halves of the buckle in front of the child and then insert them into the catch. However, unless you manage to get them exactly flat, they won't go in. There is a knack to it, which I don't appear to have mastered. We also found that it was possible to inadvertently push the movable backrest up. However, minor gripes as all in all I think it protects the child extremely well.

I am surprised about how little reviews this seat has got. It is by far the best one on the market. Most people just don't know about it.We had this seat since birth and I can not fault it at all. Being used to Maxi Cosy car seats from my first born, I can really see the bonus points in the Milofix. It is so sturdy and easy to use. The best is of course that it is so safe. My little girl, now 2.5 years old loves it and she will be in it for at least until 4 years old. Yes, it is a lot of money to start with but it does pay off big time!
