A thermometer for the whole family! The MeasuPro Forehead Thermometer allows users to get an instant digital body temperature reading with no contact necessary. No touch means no reason to wake a sleeping baby to get his temperature taken and also helps prevent the spread of germs. Designed with the user in mind, this thermometer is equipped with two LED lights that line up on the forehead when the thermometer is at the correct position. Simply adjust the distance until the lights are aligned vertically to ensure a consistent and accurate reading each time. Along with body temperature, this thermometer gun can measure the surface temperature of objects to gauge if an object is a suitable temperature for babies or patients. This thermometer features a fever alarm to warn of potential high temperature, a memory recall function that stores up to 25 readings and a mute option to measure in silence. What a wonderful piece of kit this is. For years I've used contact thermometers to monitor my children's temperature, and always found it a struggle to keep them still long enough to take their temperature accurately. When able to get a reading, the contact ones work very well, but they just take too long.
Therefore when offered the opportunity to try this product I jumped at the chance. It comes well packaged and looks very professional. I tried taking my temperature with both this and a contact one and got an almost identical temperature (give or take a point) and repeated the exercise with my wife and again received almost identical results between contact and this non-contact one, so I'm more than happy with the accuracy.
It's very easy to switch from fahrenheit to centigrade and to also switch off the beeps which is ideal when you have a poorly, yet restless child. It also takes merely a second to take the temperature. Thankfully I've not had need to...

I had been thinking about getting a new up to date thermometer for a while but wasn't sure which one to buy. I quite liked the look of this one because it didn't look too big and liked the fact it has the two little red dots to help take an accurate temperature reading.
When ordering this I was a bit dubious as it wasn't a brand name. I didn't get my hopes up and I was expecting the worst. However when it arrived and after a bit of fiddling, I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the price, I wasn't expecting batteries to be included, which they were. Straight away, this was a plus point for me.
This is so simple to use, love the fact you can see its working by the red lights so you know its reading correctly. Good function of being able to turn sound off, which is great for checking on sleeping kids but its not to loud if you forget. very simple to use my 3 year old can operate it. What a really clever device! What a shame I hadn't come across this earlier. I have a 3 month old after a 11 year gap and things have changed a bit in terms of technology and things available. My daughter just her immunisation and this came in really handy in taking her temperature. Its really accurate as I compared the readings with my sisters thermometer. I just love the fact you don't need to disturb your child or make her feel uncomfortable. You need to hold the thermometer really close to the forehead but yes no contact needed.
