I remember when my little sister appeared on the scene many years ago. My mother would have to warm the bottles up in a pan of boiling water, then after an eternity, take the bottle out to find the milk too hot and then have to put the bottle in cold water to cool it down. If it was a bad day the bottle would get too cold and the vicious cycle would begin.
If my poor mother had one of these life, temper and stress would have been a lot easier to manage. It is just a matter of putting in a set amount of water, switching on and waiting for the alarm. If you miss it or are too busy, well no great shakes, it will maintain the temperature for around 20 mins. You can't overcook it.
Assembly is easy enough, there is a base unit, a little cage to lower and raise the bottle into/out of the water, a cover to sit over the top and a little plastic tab to fit on the top to act as a vent. Pretty easy to put together.

On first glance at the size of the instruction booklet I was a bit worried that this was going to be really difficult to operate as the instruction booklet is really quite thick however thankfully this was because the instruction booklet includes an additional eight languages to English however I still couldn't say that for me this is the easiest bottle warmer to operate. Thankfully the instructions also come with a quick start card which really does help until you get the hang of things.
The Medela bottle warmer has the option for you to heat your breast milk from either frozen, fridge or room temperature and maintains the temperature once heated at 34 degrees celcius. This I found really handy as if you miss the audible and visual end signal, rather than continuing to heat and heat like other bottle warmers so that the milk ends up scorching hot, you don't then have the issue of having to try to cool the bottle down as fast as you can as your baby is going crazy wanting to be...

The Medela B-Well Bottle Warmer is a nice, safe way to warm milk for babies as long as you're not under any time constraints.
Its easy to use, with a simple four stage process to set everything going. It can take a bit of trial and error to choose precisely the right settings, but once you get the hang of it then it only takes a minute to set the warmer up. Its also small enough to be easy to store and relatively easy to keep clean
The only downside to the warmer is the speed at which it operates. For example warming 150ml of milk will take several minutes, which is fine if your doing a planned feed and you have ample preparation time. However if you're dealing with a screaming child in the middle of the night and speed is of the essence then waiting for the Medela to do its thing will not necessarily be your first option (the trusty microwave will probably fulfil that role).
