Absorbant but not discreet, 26 Oct. 2016

I bought these to tide me over when my Lansinoh (old quilted style) ones ran out and they were out of stock on Amazon. The Medela ones were absorbant enough, however they are a tad bulky and because of their weird square, almost rectangular shaping are very noticeable through clothing if you don't have extra padding in your bra.They also bunched up whenever I unclipped my bra and folded it down out of the way to breastfeed, which meant when I went to close my bra again I had to unfold or unpeel them from wherever they'd managed to stick themselves to. Breastfeeding in public can be met with awkwardness as it is so if you're having to rummage around in your bra after a feed it really doesn't help you trying to stay under the radar on the off chance some muppet takes offence to the fact.I wasn't a huge fan of these and I really wouldn't buy them again. I didn't find them value for money at all.

Good pads, absorb well, good shape (could give five stars for this). The only big minus they have is the glue part. Glue starts rolling in some kindoff sticky little rolls that de-attach from the pad and start spreading everywhere! When you use a pad for a whole day these glue rolls start to appear everywhere in your bra (not on a pad), on your breast (which is very dangerous for your baby!) or in a bed after the night. I had to constantly check my breasts before I feed baby so that glue would not be on them and baby would not swallow them! Not happy about this at all. I am not buying them anymore, too risky.

I love these pads. I have tried supermarket own, mothercare, Tommy tippee, washable bamboo and these are without a doubt my favourite. I was having to change all of the above other pads 1-4 times a day. These see me through a full day, (tested on a day when particularly leaky because my baby was too distracted to properly feed!). They don't ruckle up, slide around (I prefer not using sticky tabs), they cover well and the shape and slight fold works great for me and they are super absorbent without feeding damp or soggy. I'm putting them on subscription order! So glad I ordered them.
