Lack of suction, 14 Mar. 2011

I have the medela swing breast pump and noticed a lack of suction so I brought the replacment valve, my pump is now working like new. Brilliant!

Just so you know, there are 6 membranes in the pack as I don't think the description tells you this. Shame ypu can'y just buy the membranes (as you can in USA) rather than having to but the valves too.

Great quality and value for maintaining your medela unit over time, 4 Oct. 2015

I love that the medela parts can be purchased seperately. The valve parts are usually the first parts to go on the pump and it's great to just buy replacements rather than having to spalsh out on a whole new unit.Although the medela products may seem pricey, they are great quality and having the ability to replace any parts that wear out or malfunction actually makes them very very good value for money as you can maintain the unit for a long long time to come.I am doing extended breastfeeding (currently at 18 months, aiming for 24 months) and the swing pump has been a godsend, even more so after returning to work. The medela products are brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
