These are not as durable as you would think, made out of very thick cardboard but poorly made I thought and damaged easily, very disappointed considering the price tag! I would recommend you buy wood or plastic!

totally horrible!!!!, 18 Sept. 2011
this did not last long at all. they are not durable. my daughter was able to stick her foot through three of the boxes. she has just turned 1 years old.she loved stacking what was left but now she doesn't play with it at all. i hope the manufacturer is reading this and rethink the way this toy is made. very dissapointed. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Great idea, bad quality, 25 May 2010
I really like Melissa and Doug toys. So I usually buy them even if sometimes they look overpriced. I was very dissapointed by the quality of this one. It is very poorly made. I do not recommend it.
