Brilliant tool for our family...., 7 Sept. 2011

We have a 4 year old and a 5 year old in our house.... and this reward chart has been a huge hit. Every week we decide what "responsibilities" they will have for the week, and every night we review (us together with the kids) whether or not the magnet has been deserved. And if the kids have a particularly good week achieving their magnets, we have a family "treat"... ie.. cinema, picnic... or whatever, to celebrate their achievements.Initially I thought that the novelty would wear off... but now a good few months later, it is still going strong. The kids love it, they know what is expected of them, and they do everything in their power to get their magnets.Its a great tool for our home, and I'm delighted that we bought it. The quality is fantastic, as one would expect from Melissa and Doug, and I love the fact that we can personalise the blank magnets to suit our requirements.For us it has been a brilliant purchase.

Brilliant product, also helped my relationship with my son as we sat every night and put the magnets on if he had gained them. Also once a week picked different tasks and goals togather. Brilliant product as it is goals but also chores that they can get involved with and have a choice in what they do!!!! Definatley worth buying

I like this product. It is compact, durable, and has a lot of responsibilities and some blank ones also, so you can set your own.It has a lot of reward magnets once the responsibility item is achieved.The downside is it takes my child forever to choose which reward magnet he should pick as there are so many different styles to choose from and of course the momentum of keeping the chart up to date.I would recommend this for any child who needs help in remembering responsibilities, 5+.
