Baby seems to find it comfortable.Only drawback is the cover is difficult to take off, which happens quite often when baby vomits etc and cover needs to be washed.

I needed a new mattress for my daughters moses basket as the one it came with was plastic and noisy. This is a good depth, she seems to find it comfy as she sleeps really well on it. The only thing I would say is that after a couple of hours it leaves a dip where she's been lying, but I think is the case with all moses basket mattresses, as they're not as thick as crib mattress, and also due tom the fact that foam doesn't retain it's shape that well.
