I have had really dry and brittle hair, even started to use texturiser as i didn't know what to do as my hair was just falling out, scalp itchy and always dry. i only used this product last night and oh my God wonderful! my hair is so soft, shiny and not breaking, it also feels wonderful on my scalp non itchy. i really recommend this product to people with dry, itchy, breaking hair as it really does work. also i have dyed my hair severally and this didn't wash out the dye and it's been two weeks and other times it would have just gone grey. i had tried several other relaxers before i used texturiser which didn't resolve my issue. highly recommended and really it doesn't burn but i did use the scalp treatment also so i recommend this also if your scalp is sensitive like my due to dry and itchy scalp.

Strong odour, mine was probably expired- Beware, 21 July 2015

This review is long overdue if i'm being honest, but I believe its necessary. I moved away from my hairdressers so its hard finding one you trust enough to put chemicals on your hair and considering travel is expensive I decided to start home relaxing again using my normal Mizani system. Upon receiving this tub (which has no seal at all) and opening, it gave off an extremely strong, fishy odour that even managed to make the packaging smell. I wasn't sure if this was normal, as i'm not usually the one opening the tub however after doing some research this is the odour relaxers give off if they have expired or been tampered with etc. Either way, they are dangerous for your hair - as its a chemical there's no telling how it may react once used. I checked the tub and there is no expiration date, use by date or even any date stating when the batch was produced.
