The Moby 'Midweight' is a twist on the award-winning original Moby Wrap.
Modern hues and distinctive contrast stitch have always been signature to the Modern Moby Collection but now with a new 'lighter' midweight, 100% cotton fabric.
The Moby 'Midweight' fabric has been tested to provide the same excellent support and comfort as the Original Moby Wrap but with a little less thickness and weight. The Orignal Wrap weighs a total of 2lbs (900 g), whereas the NEW Modern weights 1.75lbs (800 g).
Just like the Original Moby Wrap, the Moby Midweight can be used from birth to 35lbs, but really stands out in the infant stage. Simply wrap the fabric around you according to the directions and pop your baby in-an-out as needed. Since the Moby wraps over both shoulders, you can switch baby from side-to-side with no readjustment - all the time cradling them in cushy comfort.
The Moby Midweight is 100% (lightweight) cotton, machine washable in cool water and comes complete with a handy matching storage bag and full written instructions.

I've used my Moby wrap since my daughter was 5 days old, and I'm still using it now, and she has just turned 1!
The various positions for wrapping is great, as I've been able to change the way I wrap as she has grown up.
The first position is almost like a little cocoon for baby - they are tucked in, yet their face is kept open, so keeping them safe from suffocation.
Once they can hold their neck you can change the way they sit in the wrap - yet still comfortable for you and baby.
I would recommend trying the wrap before you need to use it. I got it when I was 8 months pregnant, so had to tie it around my husband to see/understand how it worked. After I had baby, it only took a couple of tries tying the wrap before it felt natural and easy to tie.
Has been a lifesaver at the airport (when you don't get your stroller until baggage collection!), out in the shops and to cuddle baby if she needed a nap...

I bought this as I wanted to be able to have my baby close to me while still running around after my three year old. I had tested a similar wrap that a friend had kindly let me borrow, so I knew how to tie this etc (which takes some getting used to but is quite quick one you get the hang of it).
This wrap is lovely and soft, a great width and does not show up the baby puke too much! It is very cosy (only downside was that it was unbearably hot for me and bubs this summer just gone...but how often do we get scorchers like that in Scotland?!!) and my baby still quietens as soon as he is put in it at 5 months old.
I walk to nursery with bubs in the pushchair, then pop him in the wrap to get my three year old sorted with his change of shoes etc. Many people have commented since he was only weeks old how alert, content and interested in everything my baby is; and I think that is because he has seen so much from the comfort of the wrap.
