Did what it was supposed to do. Swapped the plastic straps for strips of wire for easier fitting and tighter fit but I am sure others would find the product OK as it is. Filing cabinet now secure

You will need other fixings for solid walls., 2 May 2015
These are good, but are clearly primarily aimed at the US market, where timber frame walls are used throughout homes. The instructions only describe fixing these to wall studs - which is not feasible in many rooms in bricks and mortar houses - thus you will need suitable fixings of your own (i.e. rawl plugs - or even heavier duty fixings) for those walls.
