While I suppose it will do the job of a desk waste bin, this is not what this item was made for, so the seller is being a bit cheeky in the description. When this item arrived, it was packaged as a kitchen worktop vegetable/fruit container. It is also much larger than expected, with the top being approx 20cm across, so for the seller to say that it 'takes up little space' is complete cobblers. On the average office desk, this thing is huge. So it's now in the kitchen as it's meant to be, and I'll try to pick a more honest seller for a proper desktop bin.

This is far to small to be used as a bin. Only thing it would be good for is something like a packet of cotton wool balls. Or One empty can of coke !! Should not be sold as a trash bin .
