What else would you expect from the Danes!, 11 Dec. 2011

It's a simple , elegant and functional design, made from wood , in short a great product. Those of you put off by the one negative review regarding the braking system don't be as I initially thought the same thing, until I looked more closely and then realised that on the inner side of the rear wheels is a circular recess which has a screw fitted at right angles to the axle, you simply tighten each screw to adjust the amount of drag it gives to the wheel rotation ...simple !This product takes less than a minute to assemble but if you are unsure checkout [...]where you can view a video showing a guy assemble the complete range of their toys.

Good design but construction not great., 8 Mar. 2013

This walker appears well designed and is very stable, would be hard to tip unlike some. However, it is impossible to tighten the screws on the wheels to have any impact on the walker speed. There was a rough edge on one of the outer screws. I suspect what was originally a well designed and well built Danish toy has suffered from cheap manufacture in China. It still beats its plastic rivals but quality control needed!

I bought this for my granddaughter for xmas. First of all the wrong item was delivered but the process for returns is super efficient and Amazon immediately sent a replacement. The truck is self-assembly and is simple to put together. However, it took about 20 minutes for me to get the handle in place as I've arthritic hands. It looks nice, is very basic and quite good value, but I wish I'd paid a little more for something more substantial and not requiring self-assembly.
