A bit cheap on the waterproof cover but otherwise good, 11 Jun. 2014

We got this from Amazon Vine to put on a Cars toddler bed. Our comparison is against a Mothercare luxury mattress which is twice the price and currently on our little one's cot bed. So it's not like for like but it gives an idea of what you get for the money.

Certainly the phrase "you get what you pay for" applies here - the mattress is a bit cheaper feeling and not as comfortable as the more expensive one (you can feel some of the springs), but all in all it's a very good value product especially compared to a foam or non-pocketed mattress which are awful for a toddler or baby. But compared to a more expensive mattress you also lose out on the waterproof liner - it measures about 30cm wide but is the full width so really won't do much to stop liquids leaking onto the mattress interior because inevitably the liquid will work its way off the waterproof section onto the mattress itself. I really like this mattress. It looks and feels soft and comfortable. It seems really well made. It meets all British safety standards. I was particularly pleased to see it was hypo- allergenic as asthma runs in our family.It fits a cot/bed from Mamas and Pappas. It comes with a fully washable cover which has a zip half way round for easy removal. It is quilted on the upper side. There is a washable waterproof liner which can be moved and positioned appropriately. The mattress is light and easiiy moved and is also reversible. I really like it. It looks and feels like a quality product
