This is an excellent mattress. It feels firm to me, although other reviewers have described it as soft. Either way, it's comfortable (I've checked it out myself!). There is a breathable protective layer; the fabric is temperature regulating which pulls moisture away from the skin (I haven't checked that bit out myself!). The cover is washable and the inner liner is waterproof in case your child's nappy bursts forth during the night.It comes packaged, for those of you who are interested in that sort of thing, in a big, blue plastic sheet which is easily penetrated with brute strength or a pair of scissors.

Slightly smaller than 140 x70cm... I have had to roll a towel up to fill the space a the top of my cotbed. The cover is thick, but I have a weird lump where the fabric seems to gather. I think this has been caused by the way it was stored/ delivered (to Portugal). Good price. It will probably be replaced within the next 2 years.

This is a lovely cot bed mattress, that feels supportive and comfortable. It is covered with a fabric that is designed to help baby regulate their own temperature, and it can be removed for washing. The cover is quilted, and hypoallergenic, which is really useful for children and babies who suffer from allergy related conditions. The cover can be washed at up to 60 degrees, to ensure any nasty bugs are got rid of.The mattress also has a waterproof liner, which prevents liquid getting inside the mattress itself. This is an essential feature in any cot bed mattress, as it will last well through all of life's 'accidents' and the potty training stage.Overall, this is a very good quality cot bed mattress. I would highly recommend it to other parents who want their babies to feel comfortable, whilst being able to maintain a good standard of cleanliness for them.
