Product review, medicool electric nail file 2100, 23 Mar. 2012

I have been doing my own acrylic overlays for 5 years now, having learnt from watching (and questioning) my former nail technician and buying the recommended college course reading.

Finally, fed up spending hours using 100, 120, 180, 240 grit files and a 3 way buffer to achieve that glass shine finish, I decided to buy an electric file.

I highly recommend the Medicool 2100. I don't understand the pricing, I only paid £129 in March 2012 for mine.

The machine is quiet with minimum vibration and very easy to operate.

The DVD is a must if you are a novice like me! Being of professional quality the machine has to be used and controlled carefully (I have managed to draw blood!).

The foot pedal control was a "plus" but having tried it, I wouldn't be without one.
