Unfit for use, 5 Jan. 2018

We used this baby monitor for 13 weeks and had issues with it from week 2. So it is easy to use and set up however the parent part doesnt have a light on to show its on in the dark, so if your anything like me and want some reassurance its all still on ok then you have to turn on the light to check.

We had major issues with this monitor, from week 2 it kept loosing connection randomly. To resolve it we either had to turn off the parent unit or unit in babies room, sometimes both. It started to happen more as time went on and as he was sleeping we wernt as we were quietly in his room trying to get the dam thing to connect. The last straw for us was when it was connected and we were downstairs and could hear crying, the monitor was connected and our son was screaming like mad(he could of been going a while) and the baby monitor picked up nothing not even when we went into the room.

Have been using this for 4 months so far and here are my findings.* The units are approx 35ft apart (10m) for most of the day.* The intercom feature works very well and I have not seen any connectivity issues at all.* The boys love the tune on this device but we usually have to play it twice as it times out (would be good if it looped a little longer)* The battery for walking around is useful for when you need to be in another room.* Night light is exactly that, not bright enough to see anything but good for a focal point as the boys go to sleep.

Fantastic device, no need for a camera when this thing picks up a signal so easily and without interference. Very happy with this, used for our little 7 month old at the present. No matter how quiet she is, if she is disturbed this monitor lets us know. so far so good. If you had a camera you would simply keep looking at it, what you need is a rest not another screen to look at. As it is portable too, it can be moved anywhere you go in the house.
