This essential child safety device is designed to limit opening of a window to 100mm. It can be released to facilitate full opening of the window, it automatically re-engages restricted position on closing of the window

This excellent product is manufactured from Steel C1008, Silver Trivalent finish to meet BS 1670:1998 Grade.

Easy to fit, gap is large enough to let cool air in but small enough to prevent my ever growing kitten from escaping/falling from the upstair's window. The only reason I haven't said I love this product is because it's difficult to get that excited about a window restrictor hook!! ha ha

My instructions for fitting resistors, 24 Sept. 2015
Good product but hard to fit as there are no instructions with product. I paid a trades man to do it but the window would not close. I took them off fitted them myself.My instructions. Part 1 stud. Part two security arm1 Fit stud to the open window.2 Place the hook on the security arm on the stood keep the base of the security arm parallel the fixed window frame.3 Gently close the window holding the security arm hook on the stud.4 Where the base of the security arm lands is where you screw it in.5 screw in one screw at a time on the security base when one screw is in place gently close the window to see the resistor will close smoothly. If it won't pivot the security base ( one screw screwed into it) back towards the window frame slightly.5. Spray resistor with wd 40.6. Tighten screw in base won t window is closing smoothly.Not very technical instructions but using then I fitted 3 resistors in 15 mins
