This product is falsely advertised. We were seeking a pressure-fit gate so we wouldn't have to screw it into the wall and so it could be used in different places around the house as needed, or used while traveling.However, it is stated in no uncertain terms on the box and in the instructions that this product is not to be used without wall cups which you have to screw into the wall. How is that a pressure gate, and how is that travel-friendly? It isn't.Actually pretty absurd that this product comes with a travel bag and advertises itself as a pressure gate, then says not to use it without screwing something into the wall.

Easy to use, 27 Jan. 2015

The instructions state that this gate shouldn't be used at the top or bottom of the stairs but we used it as a gate for the bedroom and it is excellent. Once you get the hang of it you can but it up and down in seconds but it keeps the little ones pended in!

Light to carry but some negatives., 9 May 2015

Very light and therefore easy to sling over your shoulder. We took ours to EuroDisney on the train. It is easy to put up but would only use it as a temporary safety gate rather than a permanent one at home. We used ours across a bedroom door but wouldn't have felt 100% confident in using it at the top of stairs.
