NScessity babybay® is an ingenious cot solution that attaches to the side of any regular bed in a few easy steps so that your baby can sleep close to mum and dad. Many parents have no choice but to let baby sleep in a separate cot away from their own bed, requiring them to get out of bed to tend to them should they wake up in the middle of the night. This also means baby must cope with going to sleep without the comforting reassurance of being able to see mum and dad. babybay bedside cot is a unique solution to this problem that allows baby to sleep right next to you, in full view and within close reach, without disturbing your normal sleeping habits and of course there is no risk of parent rolling over and squashing baby during the night. Really great, but it doesn't fix to all beds., 1 Mar. 2013

I really do love the BabyBay. We had a Moses basket but our little one really didn't like sleeping in it. This saved our sanity! It's so much easier, and if I could go back in time I'd tell myself to get this from day one even though it is a bit expensive. Our bedroom is quite narrow, but we still managed to squeeze it in while still being able to get to (nearly) everything in the room.

The bedside cabinet required a bit of lateral thinking. I wasn't willing to get rid of it, because apart from anything else it had a nightlight and the baby monitor on it, which is useful when she goes to bed before us. We couldn't put the BabyBay in front of it because then we couldn't open the drawers, and also that puts the baby too far down the bed (particularly by the time we'd followed 'feet to foot' guidance) to make her easy to pick up in the night. In the end, I put the BabyBay at the head of the bed, and the bedside cabinet down from it. This works ok except I can't get...

Essential for me, 8 Jun. 2011

I use this bed for my third baby now, and it makes the broken nights so much easier, especially when breastfeeding. The baby is close to you, which reduces the risk of cot death, but you can still move without being afraid to put your blankets over the baby. The price here is 4 times what I paid for it in France though, so I would certainly look abroad if you want to purchase this bed.

Loved having my baby right next to me, 6 Feb. 2015

Loved having my baby right next to me, especially for nighttime feedings and morning cuddles. Only became problematic when my baby figured out how to wiggle from his crib and into our bed at 7 weeks old! There was also a small gap between the crib and our bed, which I rolled a blanket into in order to fill.
