I bought these teats as I was advised by both a HV and another parent that they were the best way of weaning my baby from BF to bottle. When my son was 6 months old, I gave these a whirl and he was not impressed so I left it for a while. At 13 months, I gave it another go after many failed attempts with other bottles! He took to them immediately 2nd time around.The latex teat is definitely a very different feel to the normal silicone which my son seems to like. The bottles are great that go with this type of teat, I have since bought another 4 bottles with the latex teats.

The only reason that I have not given these a 5* rating is because the valve sometimes seems to get blocked and the teat collapses (doesn't help that my son can't get the milk down fast enough!) but I have found that if you make sure that the valve is open before use, then there isn't a problem. That really is a minor flaw though considering how these teats have made my life (and my son's life) so much...

Great product that u cant find on the high stThese teats look and feel more natural than the standard plastic bottlesThey are alot larger and my baby has no problems with them. He refuses the tommy tippee bottles now he is bigger.Before this he used size 1 nuk teatsI use with the glass nuk bottles and these are great value as the markings do not wear off as with the plastic type. Still looking newafter 6 nmonths. ..and its nice to know there are no nasties leaching out aswith plastic bottles

These teats feel nice and natural,with a natural shape too,unlike the many silicone ones on the market-easier for breast-fed babies to switch between breast and bottle.
