Great little pump, 11 Jun. 2015

I looked all over the internet for reviews on this breast pump and the ones on amazon are about it. I felt compelled to review this pump. I went ahead and ordered this based on the price and reputation of the brand. I have the nuk sippy cups which are fab and so I thought the pump would be useful to use in conjunction with those.

I have been borrowing the Avent electric breast pump from my friend which works really well and costs over £100 so I was wondering what more you got for your money with that pump.

I have to say the nuk pump arrived but non of the plugs would fit in the adapter attachment which was driving me mad. I emailed nuk and they responded within ten minutes to say that there had been an error in the production of some of the uk pumps which resulted in the wrong adapter being issued. They took my address and I now have confirmation that they are posting a new adapter to me. This is the reason I gave the 4 stars.

I have used the battery operation instead...

Can't fault this pump. Perfect for using with all nuk bottles. It's comfortable and has different milk flow settings.

it was quite tedious to use, 12 Sept. 2015

I found that this pump didn't have a very strong suction /vacuum. it was quite tedious to use, spending 30-45 minutes each time and only getting 1oz - 3 oz of milk in total from both breasts. it is however easy to clean and assemble. it wasn't emtying my breast as i could express more milk by hand. i have now purchased an alternative pump.
