Fiddly, overly complicated, water everywhere, don't buy it!, 25 Nov. 2013

I got this as I like the NUK bottles and didn't think it would be so different to my old Avent steriliser. Wrong! This is ridiculously fiddly, it does not drain well or dry easily when still warm. The Avent could be emptied one handed and water safely tipped out and machine would dry quickly if done while still warm. This NUK one puts water everywhere, is a complete faff to set up and clean up, and never seems to dry properly so gets lots limescale (already after only 2 weeks use). Very disappointing. It has far too many parts and is hard to do one-handed (all baby equipment should be designed with this in mind!) - especially the stupid measurer for the water, which is half the size needed so you must measure two lots. And you put the water on a small dish (the element) at the bottom which is so shallow water almost always splashes off. The container is badly designed inside too, so it is hard to stack all the equipment in it - again, the Avent was amazing could fill it full and much...

Burning and made are baby unwell., 21 Sept. 2015

Bought this steriliser along with Nuk bottles due to my son being premature and these where the bottles used by the neo natal unit. The sterilerser began leaving a burning smell and a tarnished metal plate from the 3rd use. Thought it was us to start with doing something wrong but double checked instructions and its not! 4 days after having are baby home and using this steriliser he began being sick after every feed!!!We did not expect this from a product designed for babies and especially don't expect are baby to be made unwell.Don't buy!!!

Had two of these and the bottles were getting burnt inside which i felft was very dangerous for a newborn baby, the elements burnt out within a week and burning smell was not good
