Organic, natural ingredients to help new breastfeeding mothers., 3 July 2016

I got this product for my friend who has a newborn and needs all the help she can get! Baby has not been sleeping well, in part due to his insatiable appetite. The result of his hunger is obviously impacting mum with soreness and chafing, so I researched and found this product.

Especially nowadays, everyone is very aware about the importance of natural ingredients and ensuring that no processed chemicals are being ingested by them or their babies. So it's very reassuring to see simple and recognisable ingredients on the packaging:

Avocado oil

Shea Butter

Raspberry extract

Olive Oil

Coconut Oil

Aloe vera

Calendula

These are definitely ingredients I'd be happy ingesting and so I don't have any qualms about the baby coming into contact with them.

The hand pump is simple and easy to use. The packaging is cute and minimal.

I'm now away to give this as a gift to new mum and baby and will be reporting...

Gentle and soothing, 9 July 2016

I've been breastfeeding for four years now (my first son fed until 2 1/2, and I am nursing his brother who is 13 months), and have tried pretty much every nipple cream there is.

Even after such a long time nursing, I do occasionally feel that my nipples could do with a bit of tlc, or baby grazes them with his teeth, or decides to feed like a newborn for a few days, so I like to keep nipple cream in. It is wonderful to have such an excellent lanolin free option. As a family we are trying hard to reduce our use of animal products, so it works with this ethic, and in my years supporting mothers to breastfeed I have met many who are sensitive to lanolin, so having this product to recommend is brilliant,

The cream itself is easy to dispense via a pump action bottle. It is smooth and soothing, with none of the stickiness (and difficulty getting it out of the tube in cooler weather!) associated with lanolin. It absorbs quickly, and any that does remain doesn't stain...

Excellent organic product which isn't just for nipples, can be used on the perineum too, so suitable for all new mums, 9 July 2016

I remember only too well how painful it can be when you first start to breastfeed - before your nipples get chance to toughen up! During those first few weeks I used to brace myself then wince whenever my baby latched on and it really detracted from the pleasure of breastfeeding.

A friends daughter has recently given birth and I purchased this to put inside a baby hamper.

She was delighted to receive this and has been using the balm for just over a week now. She telephoned this morning and says it is really helping to soothe her nipples and says they are not cracking or becoming inflamed and red.

The great thing about it she says is that with the balm being 100% natural and of a food grade it is perfectly safe to feed baby in between applications without the need to wash it off.

its not a large pot and it comes with a pump dispenser. You only need a tiny amount so will definitely last the few weeks you need it the most.

I would certainly recommend any nursing...
